This temple is an architectural marvel creation by BAPS SWAMINARAYAN SANSTHA, a  Gujarati dedicated religious organization. BAPS is a religious sect from the state of  Gujarat, India and has been creating wondrous temples all around the world.
                               
The Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan i.e. “BAPS” Sanstha  mandir or temple complex in Toronto is now becoming  the focus of interest and wonder for local citizens, as well as travelers and visitors to Toronto, Canada.  The  temple is located at the intersection of Finch Ave. and Highway 427 in Etobicoke,  just northwest of Toronto, Ontario.

This is the 2nd largest Hindu Temple outside India. This temple is a masterpiece of complex design and dedicated workmanship. The temple was constructed in a record time of eighteen months. It has been built at a cost of  $40 million raised by the Hindu
communities worldwide, without a penny of government money.

No steel was used in building this architectural and engineering marvel.  It’s all stone on stone, using 24,000 pieces of Turkish limestone and Italian marble. The temple was constructed by two thousand craftsmen of India.
